It also did not have the retractable folding plug like the one advertised and shown in the picture, which was the one that I used to have that originally came with my phone. The charger works fine and I'm happy with it, though what I recieved was not the same charger that was shown in the picture. It still works fine with the phone though, even if it's not the same one pictured.
Not as travel friendly. The item I got also looks different than the picture in shape. I figured you can't go wrong with this price, so I bought one for my wife & one for me. One of them never charged our phone, confirming negative experiences of other reviewers. What's depicted is the original "flat" charger where the prongs fold, but what I got is a more boxy transformer with non-retracting prongs.
Great Deal. I went to T-Mobile shop and they were asking me $22 including taxes for similar type of Motorola charger. I received the charger on time. This is a perfact item from Motorola at such a low cost. I got this charger in just under $4 from amazon.
When I emailed the company about it, they promptly sent a replacement charger. The first charger I got didn't work -- it would short out in the middle of the charge so that my phone would never completely charge, even after 8 hours (usually it takes only 2-3 hours). A++.
But the same charger costs me 31 CAD in my local store here. The charger works just perfect.
Why not give a try. I hope it keeps working just as perfectly.
It is still early days as many people have found the charger not working after a few days. Its just a dollar or two and you've nothing to loose.
I had read reviews about this charger and was in two minds about buying it because the overwhelming majority suggested that it might not work. So I thought what the heck, I could loose $2 rather than spending 31 CAD.
I'm happy that I bought this.
